She has been a model since childhood, but her name rose to fame after appearing in soap operas. Her personal life has also been on the screen.

Her role as Lala in the soap opera Bidadari has made Marshanda famous since she was young. Her full name is Andriani Marshanda, known as a soap opera star and a brilliant singer, although her work often attracts controversy.

This woman, born in Jakarta on August 10, 1989, has had her artistic talents honed since childhood. She trained vocally at Paranajaya and took ballet lessons. Her childhood dream was to become an agricultural engineer or a psychologist. However, her other dream of becoming a singer grew stronger when she accidentally met composer Papa T Bob.

Her mother, who often heard Marshanda singing and recorded her songs, then tried to sell her to Papa T Bob, a renowned children's song composer. Papa T Bob was captivated by Marshanda's vocal qualities and immediately composed songs specifically for her, including "gantungkan Cita Cita."

Furthermore, since the first grade of elementary school, Marshanda, often called Cacha, has starred in several commercials. This began when she accompanied her aunt, Chintya Rustam, who was then a model for LUX soap, to the Citra Lintas advertising agency. From there, Marshanda was eventually involved in castings for several television and print commercials.

Chacha, who was 11 years old at the time, rose to fame after playing Lala in the soap opera "Bidadari," which aired in 2000 on RCTI. The soap opera, produced by Multivision Plus, aired successfully for 156 episodes and also starred Nia Ramadhani, Ayu Azhari, Marcelino Lefrandt, Moudy Wilhelmina, Cecep Reza, and Chintya Kusuma.

Following the success of the first season of Bidadari, Marshanda starred in the sequel, Bidadari 2, which ran for 104 episodes. However, she only appeared in 98 episodes because Multivision replaced her with someone else, which also sparked conflict between Marshanda and Ram Punjabi's Multivision Plus.

In the soap opera that made Cacha famous, Marshanda sang the song "Bidadari." The soap opera itself released an album of the same name, containing eleven songs sung by Marshanda, all of which included the hit "Bidadari."

Due to a conflict with Multivision Plus, Marshanda chose to join the SinemArt production company, led by Leo Sutanto, to star in the soap opera Kisah Sedih di Hari Minggu (Sad Story on Sunday), which ran for 26 episodes, playing the character Imel. Also appearing in the series were Meriam Bellina, Mathias Muchus, Ira Wibowo, Adi Bing Slamet, and young stars such as Gading Marten, Jennifer Arnelita, Cha Cha Frederica, and Egi John Forsythe.

The screenplay was written by Dani Zuko and directed by Noto Bagaskoro. In addition to her role as the lead, Marshanda also sang the theme song of the same name, Kisah Sedih di Hari Minggu, which was popularized by Koes Plus in the 1960s.

In 2005, Marshanda made her feature film debut in Petualangan 100 Jam, produced by MultiVision Plus Pictures. The story and screenplay were written by Jujur Prananto. The film was shot in Sawangan, Muntilan, Magelang, Selo, Boyolali, Bromo, Yogyakarta, Bogor, and Jakarta. Winaldha E. Melalotoa was entrusted with directing.

In early 2005, Marshanda released her eponymous solo album. Drawing on pop and R&B influences, the 10-track album focused heavily on teenage romance. Marshanda was supported by several Indonesian musicians, including Kikan Coklat, Thomas Gigi, Adam Sheila on Seven, Dewiq, and singer Bonita.

In early August 2009, Indonesian internet users were shocked by a video on YouTube featuring the young actress Marshanda's heartfelt confessions.

In her romantic life, Chacha was briefly in a relationship with actor Baim Wong, but their relationship ultimately ended. She subsequently married Ben Kasyafani, with whom she has one child, Sienna Ameerah Kasyafani. Unfortunately, their relationship ended in 2014.

Cacha recovered from the situation. Slowly, she began to overcome her mood swings. In 2017, Chacha returned to acting alongside her two exes in the soap opera " Tikus dan Kucing" (Rats and Cats). Marshanda also began to enjoy her life again.
