Most War Pups are chosen from the crowds of the wretched below the Citadel and elevated to a more secure life. Some children were encouraged by their family to go, as assurances like food and water were offered in return for loyalty to the Immortan. The youngest war pups are painted plain white and older pups have black rimmed eyes.
