36" Bunton Engine to Transmission Belt Replacement. (Belt adjustment fix for walk behind mowers)
How to fix the belts on a 36" Bunton walk behind mower - This is a Hydro 36" Bunton mower and I show you which belts I replaced on the 36" Bunton mower deck.
This is my 1st Attempt. The belt in the video is a Sterns Blue Belt 5/8" x 47" long.

Problem number 1
The original belt did not have any part numbers, or letters on it. Just pure solid rubber belt.
Went to nearest Lawn Mower Shop and matched the belts. Closest they had in stock was 47"
I used the belt, but the Bunton Mower keeps slipping forward after that.
Needs a shorter size belt
In the process of trying the 46" and 45"
The belt that fit in the video was the Sterns Blue Belt 5/8" x 47" long. I'm not sure if this is the correct size according to the Bunton manual, but it does fit. It's 2021 now, and I still have this walk behind mower till this day, with the same blue belt on it. It powers on and still works great.
