~Hand in hand we grow sustainable communities for a greener future~
Greenhouse Educational Ecosystem (GEE) is an environmental and sustainability education project that’s part of ABC - active contributions for people and the environment non-profit Swedish organization and collaborating with Hållbart Universitet (Lund Students for Sustainability) student organisaton and Lund University Accommodation Services.
Starting in 2015 at the backyard of Greenhouse Students Accommodation in Lund, Sweden, the aim of the project is to transform the backyard into Educational Ecosystem with organic permaculture edible garden, pollinators and animals habitats, forest-garden, natural zone and social places for BBQ, games and leisure.
We are doing this through theoretical and practical educational lectures and workshops with biological and ecological methods for inspiring creativity, promoting nature understanding, enrichment and protection, sustainable urban thinking and ecological designing for biodiversity!
All together we are growing annual and perennial vegetables, herbs and spices, bees and butterflies, hedgehogs and other animals, and happy people understanding and learning about collective intelligence, inspiration, solidarity, goodness, passion and natural love while creating super good biodiversity, increasing the ecosystem services and removing pollution.
In this way we create the Green Eden with bounty of goods that bring harmony between people and nature!
