MHR Sunbreak COMPLETE GUIDE TO SACRED SHEATH (New LS Switch Skill!)
This is a comprehensive guide to using the new Long Sword switch skill, Sacred Sheath Combo that will be featured in the full release of Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak!
The new move functions as both a quick-reaction counter and a hard-hitting attack combo, making it very versatile in combat. The sheathing animation is a counter if held down while being attacked, and a guardpoint if released precisely when you are being struck. While holding the fully charged combo, you can dash to reposition or close the distance before unleashing a devastating attack, which also has hyper armor during the attack animation.
I didn't have a chance to mention it in the video, but you can follow up a successful Sacred Sheath Combo attack with a Spirit Roundslash/Reckoning to regain 1 level of spirit gauge.
Sacred Sheath is not officially featured in the Sunbreak Demo, and was obtained using cheat engine purely for demonstration purposes, alongside the added skills which are used for the comparison.
