Beekeeping: Splitting a Split.
I took 3 frames of brood, with bees, minus the queens out of 2 hives as a preemptive swarm control measure. I combined them in a 10 frame super flanked by frames of fresh foundation. Then brought them home, far enough away so that the bees didn't go back to their original hives. Five days later, I'm splitting it into two colonies with emergency queen cells going into each split.
