These little screws hold the side rods to the driver cranks on model steam engines. For some reason the original screws are of poor quality and are easily stripped or damaged if you ever need to remove them. This video covers the simple manufacture of replacement screws from flathead 0-80 machine screws made of stainless steel. Most siderod screws are either 0-80 0r M1.4 thread, both threads are easily available on Amazon or Ebay. You just have to make a bushing shoulder. They are now easy to replace and remove with a precision screwdriver.
