i have a friend near birmingham
his background is also in music,and he used to be the singer in a group called *swansway*..
one day i was talking to him about the seaside amusement arcades in the1960's,
i was telling him how i'd love to channel one of those little sailers who'd laugh hysterically when you put a penny in the slot.
my able friend got behind the idea,even built an actual set for it,and then devoted many of his own precious hours editing the footage he skilfully shot of me, channeling the sailor for my song.
... after we finished the shoot , we sat in his friends garden drinking tea, watching the sun go down,before heading back south.
and it was simply one of the best summer days ever...
