The Institute of the Daughters of The Queenship of Mary Immaculate is 'a Secular Institute of Diocesan Right'. The Institute was founded in accord with the spirit of Pope Pius XII's Apostolic Constitution concerning Secular Institutes: "Provida Mater Ecclesia", issued on February 2, 1947. It was formally granted approbation by the Church on December 3, 1954, under the pastoral care of the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Bangkok.
The motto of Institute is: "Expanding the Kingdom of God through prayer and work under the direction of Our Mother Mary".
Fr. Carlo Della Torre gave the Institute the title of "The Institute of the Daughters of the Queenship of Mary Immaculate" with the belief that the Daughters would follow their calling through the example of our Mother Mary.
Members of the Institute consist of Catholic women, either single or widows, who voluntarily respond to God's call and are united within the family atmosphere.
