Hello everyone! As to not waste time, I want to immediately state I’m moving channels. Link to my new channel will be in the description, as well as pinned comment. But feel free to stay if you’d like a further explanation.
So, most of you guys may know, I took a LONG, unannounced hiatus from this channel awhile back. During that time, my channel went from 5k when I was still active, to sitting at 7k subscribers for months.
Most of those subscribers were earned VERY quickly after my friday night funkin videos, more specifically the 2.5mil views short Go Pico Go, which is now unlisted. Additionally, a good chunk of those subscribers are either dead accounts now, or are entirely uninterested with my content, which, i don’t blame them for. They subscribed for a funny meme, but found my channel wasn’t for them, or what they were looking for in terms of content.
I get it. I’ve done that too.
But unfortunately this has affected the way the youtube algorithm views and pushes slash recommends my videos.
The YouTube algorithm mistook the unbalanced growth as bot activity. Which, is why its been so hard for me to continue to grow, or have relatively any viewership at all.
So, if you somehow stumble across this video, as one of those same viewers from go pico, don’t worry, you don’t need to subscribe to my new channel. I post animations. I am an animation channel. I do not make funny memes.
My content is also aimed towards 13+ individuals, due to the fact I usually use pretty strong language, and mildly mature themes in my videos. I’d appreciate if you respect that as well.
To get started, I’ll be reuploading my last three videos to my new channel, to hopefully see some better numbers in terms of viewership, and push a bit of content out so I can begin growing on there. I only have 100 subs on my new channel and former alt at the moment, so I’m hoping to reach 500 subs pretty soon so I can use the community tab again.
Finally, what’s going to happen here? I will be transforming this current channel into my alt. I’ll reupload videos from my original alt here, and start putting out a bit of filler content as well to spread more awareness about my new main channel.
Thanks again for understanding, because this really has been a difficult decision. I hope to see you guys there, and things begin working out better for me.
