Terminids are grotesque alien freaks of Helldivers 2, but if you think that they're bugs, you're wrong.
If you crack into xenobiology and compare Terminids to life as we know it on planet Super Earth, you'll see that 'nids don't fit cleanly into any animal kingdom we currently have categorized. Being warm blooded makes the Terminids very different from bugs.
In this lore video, I establish how Terminids are NOT insects, and a proposed metamorphological life cycle to show how the grow from one form to another. Pouncers to Hunters to Stalkers, Scavengers to Warrior to Brood Lord AND Scavengers to Charger, and Spitter to Bile Spewer to Bile Titan.
