I am an industrial electrician apprentice by trade, so when I heard that the old Rankine Power Plant, which supplied 25Hz power all the way until 2006 (!!!), had reopened as a museum, I knew I had to go! Definitely worth a visit!
In this video, the elevator ascends from the water outlet tunnel up to the power-house.
