Greetings, friends, Myth here! Welcome to the "Russian OSINT" course!
A few words about the course. I've thought about calling it differently many times, because many people simply don't understand what OSINT is.
It's actually simpler than it seems, as the term "intelligence" is familiar to almost everyone from a very early age.
Everyone dreamed of being a spy or an intelligence officer as a child, and now that dream has come true. Now, anyone reading this can become an intelligence officer without leaving home (though this will slightly affect the quality of the information collected :)
In the 2000s, the information space began to grow exponentially. Previously, to obtain intelligence, you had to meet with informants (yes, word of mouth has been around for a long time), but now you don't even need to ask anyone; people post information about themselves; you just need to know where to look and how to structure it.
Previously, you had to "listen to the airwaves," but now you just need to follow someone and receive targeted information about your target.
My goal in this course is to show the open source intelligence gathering scene in Russia, as I mentioned earlier.
But overall, the methods you'll learn are universal. I don't want to show you every service that exists; that's impossible. I want to demonstrate the methodology for searching, systematizing, and analyzing information.
I also think it's important to convey to everyone that information, especially if posted thoughtlessly, can be a threat or a boon for someone with selfish motives.
