Q-Bat software that is tailored for virtual, thermal prototyping of batteries in Matlab enviroment. It works quicker than CFD, yet gives very detailed 3-D temperature distribution. You can build anything from a simple battery up to very complicated designs.
Simulation in Q-Bat is much quicker than CFD but it gives equally precise results. You can design or verify: the cooling plate, layout of cells or predict temperatures for different driving profiles.
