Chronicles of Kira - Restoration Using Home Strip
Kira was built in 1936. She’s currently undergoing restoration using environmentally friendly methods and traditional boatbuilding craftsmanship. Home Strip is being used to remove all of the many layers of yacht varnish which has degraded and reveal the beautiful timbers below.
