Could Red Trees Exist on Alien Worlds?
Have you wondered if trees on other planets could be a different color, like red? On Earth, our plants absorb red and blue parts of the light spectrum, using it to create energy and reflecting green colour which is why they appear green to our eyes.
However, on distant alien worlds, the plants might have evolved to absorb different wavelengths of light from their star. For instance, Planets circling cooler stars might lead plants to evolve in ways that capture more red light, making them look red or other bright colors.
