On a Windows,

Enable Desktop Audio in OBS Audio Settings.

On a Mac,

Use Soundflower (https://soundflower.en.softonic.com/mac) to patch audio from anything on your desktop to OBS. However, this wont send audio to your studio/room speakers. To send audio from you desktop to BOTH OBS and your studio speakers, create a multi output devices.

After you download sound flower, go into your finder and choose applications. From applications, choose utilities. From utilities, choose Audio Midi Set Up Devices (or something like that...). In here, you can create a new output device by clicking the "+". Link your audio interface/speakers, sound flower, and your regular desktop audio all to this new "Multi Output Device".

Use this device as your output from you DAWs. In FL Studio, Ableton, Logic, etc... choose Multi Output Device as your output. Keep the input as your audio interface (mines an mbox pro).

Now, the output from your DAWs will be going into OBS through sound flower, AND STILL going your speakers.
