Video Games Live: LEVEL 6 Kickstarter! Pokemon TV show song demo
Spread the word! LEVEL 6 album project launching on Kickstarter Monday, February 19th! Here's a little Pokémon TV show song preview with computerized MIDI orchestra and original singer Jason Paige!!
Original Pokemon singer Jason Paige will be on the album as we intend to remake the original Pokemon TV show theme song with full rock band, orchestra and choir!! Below is a short 1 minute clip of what we've been working on! Please note... this is only a rough computerized MIDI version, but hopefully you can get an idea of the power & emotion that we're going to be bringing to this piece of music. Jason is super excited to be a part of it!
And speaking of super excited!! We also just confirmed that Veronica Taylor (the original voice of Ash Ketchum) is also going to be a part of the LEVEL 6 Kickstarter as well! At certain levels Veronica will say your name and then the phrase "I CHOOSE YOU!'. Each recording will be 100% unique! And at higher levels she will also do a customized "leave a message" greeting for your cell phone. All in the voice of Ash of course! We'll have other things available from her & Jason such as signed pictures with their characters, etc.! And there is so much more to come!!
After taking a big poll here on Facebook, it was decided that the Final Fantasy piece that everyone wants to hear us do next is "To Zanarkand" from Final Fantasy X!! So I'd also like to announce here and now that we intend on putting it on the LEVEL 6 album as well!
Also hoping to do stuff like Earthbound/Mother, Destiny, Tomb Raider, Metal Gear Solid, more Skyrim, Suikoden II, Castlevania - Bloody Tears, Fire Emblem, Heroes of Might & Magic, Katamari Damacy, Secret/Legend of Mana, Shenmue, Starfox, Guilty Gear, Kingdom Hearts II (Sanctuary), Neir, Kirby, Cuphead, Ori & The Blind Forest AND MORE!! Already too much for LEVEL 6 (is it too soon to be talking LEVEL 7!?!?) :) But as always... the backers are going to decide what the final tracklist is going to be... and hopefully if we hit our stretch goals... we'll be doing a bunch of bonus tracks!
Aside from the album we'll be doing another behind the scenes documentary... but also providing a whole variety of new physical content such as 3-D posters, 3-D bookmarks, vinyls, previous CD's, vinyl singles, signed composer posters/sheet music and so much more!
Can't wait for everyone to see it all!
