It's an invitation to look honestly.
More and more Dutch people dream of a life in Sweden. More peace. More space. More nature. A new beginning. But what if we sometimes expect too much from a country, a place, a move?
In this video, I share my personal perspective as a Dutch person living in Sweden. Not to invalidate the dream, but to deepen it. Because Sweden is beautiful... But it's not a cure for an unhappy life.
Happiness isn't a destination.
Not a stop in the future.
And not a country you move to.
I explain why emigrating feels fundamentally different when you start from fulfillment, instead of from an inner lack. And why life only truly becomes lighter when you learn to live in the here and now—wherever you are.
