Summary
Okay guys back at it again with the A6K and Sigma 30mm DC DN.
The issue was planned for sunrise and was equal opportunity for me to work with some local talent, a hairstylist based out of NYC (@Daylove13), makeup artist (@kyseeab) and a local model (@A.Nya_). The entire shoot with the sigma 30 mm DC DN, shooting mostly wide open and occasionally stopping down to 1.7 and making sure eyes and things were in focus.
I have to say this is easily my favorite lens to use now, I love all the versatility I can move in close for traditional portrait shots for backup and include more the scene for more environmental portraits which happen to be more my style.
We shot here in Red Bank New Jersey, and this was the perfect type of suit to get me ready for the local prom season. I'm looking to grow my brand more locally and offer special event photography services in this NJ general area.
Anyways Nelson takes a note you think… Seems like this is a must-have lens for anybody using an A6000 or A6300. I'm honestly starting to consider just moving up to the a6300 next since most of my gear and set up are made for the apc-s style bodies. And I truly love the results…
