'Mr City Sounds' : Dave Silby in Conversation
I read a review of City Sounds, the infamous record store in London, that stated "Dave Silby could sell ice to the Eskimos". Made me chuckle. In this chat I'll be peeling back the layers of a gentlemen who's early years I really don't have much knowledge of.
Someone who is held in high regard by many of my guests I've spoken to over the years and anyone who ever enjoyed those Saturday afternoon pilgrimages to Holborn to see what he had under the counter.
