AppShed - App Building - Training for Schools
The AppShed training program for schools offers students from primary school right through to college level the opportunity to get involved and make their own apps. These apps will work on their, iPhones, Android and all other smartphones.
Children can design their own app and have it published and live within an hour. AppShed teaches them the basics of app building and other skills such as identifying a USP, planning an app, creative design and information architecture. These are all relevant skills that might eventually lead to previously unimagined career paths.
