A Last of Us Super Fan's Thoughts on HBO's The Last of Us Season 1

As someone who has been a fan of The Last of Us since day 1 when the first game was released, it's wild now, 10 years later, to see it adapted to television. As someone who has played both TLOU games many times, I was curious to see what the show could add to the story that was not touched upon in the games. In some ways, the show did expand the lore of The Last of Us, but also, the show changed some smaller details from the games. Season 1 of The Last of Us HBO, in my opinion, is a quality show as it has a well-acted cast, stunning cinematography, and believable sets. When you add all that with the already great script and music from the games, you have an adaption that made for great television. Season 1 of The Last of Us on HBO is a popular show because it captured and respected the fans of the games while attracting the attention of people who had no prior history with the game franchise.
