Texas Wild Boar With Mosin Nagant
Although we like to take an animal with one properly placed bullet, it doesn't always happen that way...David and I passed on a shot on a running hog. Caleb didn't. Caleb took the long shot at night with open sights and a Sniper Hog Light on his Mosin Nagant on a running hog. It was about 157 yards paced off. He hit it but didn't drop it. It ran off. As we were walking down to look for it we could see it wandering in and out of the brush in shock. The Mosin had shell lock so Caleb carried my M&P15 to finish it off if we could locate the feral hog. We did. As it turns out Caleb shot it through the teeth and out the back of the jaw. You can see the exit wound at the back of the jaw when the hog drops from Calebs final shot. Enjoy Y'all.
