Taking POGIL Activities On-Line in Middle School
POGIL is a popular, research-based method of guided inquiry. It relies on teams of students interacting with an activity while an instructor facilitates their learning. As this face-to-face format is not currently possible for most instructors, must we give up on POGIL for now? The answer is "NO!"
In this webinar, three experienced POGIL practitioners and authors will introduce the three new POGIL Activity collections designed for middle school, early high school, ELL, and other students. Plus, Amy and Lori will share how they have been able to successfully use POGIL activities with different models of synchronous online instruction in very different middle school environments.
