Somerville/Boston MA- 2010, CONFINES "Withdrawn" EP is a timeless masterpiece of a hardcore record. Attached to this record is a philosophy essay put together by members of the band. I believe this record and its attached essay are absolutely crucial for today's climate, and completely relevant per modern times, in order to help the individual decrypt the complete ideological inversion of political correctness that's festered any momentum of culture, and further capsized any real remnants of "the left" and shifted it over into a more mainstream accepted right wing totalitarian trap.
Today we are amidst a Hegelian dialectic where there is simply thesis vs antithesis, and the real desire of the state bullies us closer to a desired "synthesis" from within the manufactured Overton window as designated by two sides of the same coin. In this synthesis, people who follow "both sides" are tricked into the same trap by way of creating enemies via what's observed in psychology as "the ego"; this is often guided by intellectuals and charlatans who appear to be on your side.
The ego is the invisible creator of the devil that lives within each of us (Go watch "REVOLVER" the film by Guy Ritchie for a full breakdown of this).
Right now in 2022, we are dealing with dark squares and false light, dualistic aspects of mainstream sanctimony versus controlled opposition. Any politician tied to bullshit phrases such as "Build Back Better", and shake hands with extortionist tyrants from the World Economic Forum all simply view YOU as "the virus". I say, reject totalitarianism, stop flexxing these holier than thou vaxports at music venues. That's POSER shit. Like Mufasa said to Simba: "REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE".
