“I fought for a radical cinema, and I continued all my life.” - Agnes Varda
Filmmaker Rosalie Varda presented tribute screenings of films directed by her mother, auteur Agnès Varda, at ARRAY Creative Campus. The screenings included LA POINTE COURTE (1956), Varda’s first film, a graceful, penetrating study of a marriage on the rocks, set against the backdrop of a small Mediterranean fishing village, with VARDA BY AGNÈS (2019), the final film from the beloved director which provides a personal summation of her own brilliant career.
