In 2016 Holte Midtpunkt underwent some major layout changes.
This included both the removal and adding of elevators and escalators.
Overall, the layout was streamlined and the retail space was increased, thus making the building easier to navigate and more profitable.
The floor layout is as follows:
2, second floor, library entrance
1, first floor, shopping level
0, ground floor, north entrance
Before the change:
Travelators from level 0 to 1.
2012 ThyssenKrupp chain hydraulic elevator serving level 1 and 2.
After the change:
Escalators from level 0 to 1.
2016 ThyssenKrupp MRL traction elevators serving all three levels.
Now there is direct elevator access between the north entrance and the library entrance. In the past, it was nescessary to change elevator on level 1 between the 2004 ThyssenKrupp and the 2012 ThyssenKrupp.
