Enlisted the help of a friend who has a lathe at his home to machine stainless steel guide rods for the Walther Q5 Match.
One has the factory .288" diameter to run OE springs, and the other has a .250" diameter for more common flat wire springs intended for 1911s, M&Ps, or Glocks. We'll see if the thinner one functions properly, but if it doesn't I will have the .288" rod as Plan B.
