Elite Troops | Army of Myths #1
Four years of war.
The bloodiest in Europe since World War II.
During this time, it has become clear that the Russian army still believes its own propaganda. It believes in a "second army in the world," in an invincible airborne force, in special training. It believes that everything will be resolved quickly and without serious resistance.
But in war, all myths are quickly dispelled.
That's why we're launching the "Army of Myths" series.
We'll be examining one fundamental misconception at a time, one on which this invasion was built.
First episode: about the so-called "elite."
Airborne Forces. Marines. Reconnaissance.
What has become of them in four years?
What has their status become in practice?
And why have loud slogans proven stronger than common sense?
