The Wangduechhoeling Palace, a lasting symbol of Bhutanโ€™s Royal history and cultural heritage, has been restored and transformed into a museum and cultural centre. Trongsa Penlop Jigme Namgyel originally built the palace in 1858, and it served as the Royal residence for Bhutanโ€™s first three hereditary monarchs, witnessing pivotal moments in Bhutanese history.
