The Wangduechhoeling Palace, a lasting symbol of Bhutanโs Royal history and cultural heritage, has been restored and transformed into a museum and cultural centre. Trongsa Penlop Jigme Namgyel originally built the palace in 1858, and it served as the Royal residence for Bhutanโs first three hereditary monarchs, witnessing pivotal moments in Bhutanese history.
