Memories About the Future - Mariia Yaremak
Last October, I had the opportunity to perform at a special UN-related event in America and wrote a composition for it - Memories About the Future.
I am especially grateful to composer Kim Scharnberg for his inspiration and advice during its creation.
It's about dreams that will never come true.
I put my life on hold for so long. But one day everything changed.
The people I wanted to spend time with died.
The cities I wanted to visit were wiped off the planet.
And all that was left were bright dreams about things that would never happen again.
That's why this composition is a fond memory of the past, but also a motivation to move on to new beautiful dreams. We have only one life. ♥
