Post Office Caused 'Harm and Injustice' as Alan Bates begins his testimony to the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry as the first witness called during Phases 5 and 6 of the Inquiry.
Alan Bates was a subpostmaster who was one of the first affected, and the first to raise issues, with the Fujitsu Horizon system and spent 5 years up until 2003 as a subpostmaster.
He went on to create the Justice for Subpostmasters Alliance, a group which brought together hundreds of wrongly accused subpostmasters to seek the compensation, truth and justice that they deserve.
