Muzzle velocity testing of all 9x19 mm bullets sold in Turkey
We tested all 9x19 mm bullets produced by the Mechanical Chemistry Institute (MKE), Turaç (Sterling), Sarsılmaz (ZSR), Balıkesir Explosive Industry (BPS) and Özkursan (Codex).
We weighed the bullets before the test and took the same weight from the same box. The results have measured in terms of feet-per-second (fps) and are given in meters per second (m/s).
The test showed a 10% difference between the fastest MKE shells and the slowest Sterling shells. Sarsılmaz, BPS and Özkursan rounds were quite equal to each other.
