How to Tidy Text Data in Google Sheets | Google Sheets Tutorials
When you are working on a worksheet on Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel which contains a lot of text data related to product names, person names or agency names, etc., but the data contains letters that do not match such as capital letters or excess spaces , then your work can be made easier by using some of the formulas in the following video tutorial. Here's the formula:
TRIM, to remove all extra spaces from the text, except for one space between words.
UPPER, to change the text to capital letters / all capital letters.
LOWER, to change the text to all lowercase.
PROPER, to change the first letter of the text to uppercase and the other letters of the text to lowercase.
