Some may find this to be an odd song to dedicate to a dog, but for me, this song is about missing someone, or more specifically the feeling of dread knowing that you only have a limited amount of time left with someone you love. This song so perfectly captures the feeling I had during my last few months with Demitri that it simply couldn't be any other song. Animal lovers will understand. For those who still think it's strange, I hope one day you can experience what unconditional love feels like.
Putting this together helped me get through the grieving process, and I hope it may help others who may be experiencing the loss of a loved one.
