P5D Phoenix Indexable Drills
Anything deeper than 4D in indexable drilling is a challenge due to chip congestion. As chip formation is different from inner insert to outer insert, OSG opted to apply asymmetrical flute geometries to realize smooth and reliable 5D drilling with indexable inserts.
