Minimalist Gopro Travel Kit. What you actually need for GoPro while traveling.
In this video, I go over what accessories I pack to get great GoPro footage while traveling abroad. This is the functional setup that I have continually improved over the past few years of traveling. I decided to make this video because I have seen many videos that claim to be showing “minimalist GoPro kits”, but then include a drone and/or several thousand dollars' worth of accessories. You do not need all of that to get great GoPro footage. The base GoPro Hero 8, GoPro Hero 9, GoPro Hero 10, GoPro Hero 11, and GoPro Hero 12 are all great cameras by themselves. The accessories I show in this video simply improve their functionality and ease of use. This is not a perfect system, and I mention a few of its flaws and problems I have had with some of this gear throughout the video. If you have any suggestions for gear I need to try or any ideas for improving this kit, let me know in the comments below. As always, thanks for watching!
