As part of the “Smart City” program, the city of Kharkiv is leading in the implementation of integrated solutions to ensure the safety of road users.
At the design stage, modern security measures were taken into account, such as:
• Road markings and signs
• Economical LED lighting
• Railings
• Camcorders
• Traffic light with countdown board
• Sound Systems
• Pedestrian buttons for people with disabilities and children
By means of video surveillance, KP employees can monitor traffic congestion, compliance with the schedule of urban transport, traffic lights.
Particular attention is focused on the safety of pedestrians, as the object is located on a busy highway near the school number 125.
