Shadows of Brimstone Public Service Announcement
After hearing a lot of great things about Shadows of Brimstone, I pulled the trigger and picked up a few of the boxes.
As someone who has put together and painted multiple armies in the past, the amount of assembly required beforehand was not overwhelming, but I thought I would put a quick message out there, especially for people who are not used to assembling models straight from the sprues.
All in all the miniatures have a good amount of details, I love the overall theme of the game, love how you can hop back and forth between different horror genres and the way that it's been growing over time.
I feel that one of the strengths is the commitment of Flying Frog Productions to make sure that the game continues to grow over time and gives us new and interesting twist that all tie into this expanding universe of horror.
if you're interested, you can pick up one of the core boxes- City of the Ancients is an excellent start- and if you want to dive in and try out other expansions they are there, ready and waiting right now.
Also, there is the Kickstarter with two additional expansions with additions to each of them. Each looks fantastic and will give either an Indiana Jones/ the Mummy feel to it or a ghost train expansion where the train hops from dimension to dimension.
