Thaipusam2026 Spore: part 2 (body piercing, carrying the Kavadis, & milk pots to the temple)
Thaipusam 2026: their strong faith make body piercing painless; carrying kavadis, milk pots, walking barefoot in the hot weather from Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple on Serangoon Road to the Sri Thendayuthapani Temple on Tank Road, walking past Dhoby Ghaut (3-4km) in the hot sun to give thanks & express gratitude to God for granting a good year ahead, for granting their deepest vows/wishes for family, work, health etc & to thank for the blessings they or their loved ones received, plus also as a form of spiritual purification (cleansing their body & soul of bad traits)
