Jasmine, a 13-year-old girl, lives in extreme child poverty in the Philippines. Her family resides on the streets of Manila, near the Tondo slums. Despite her young age, she considers herself the breadwinner of the family, as she provides for her siblings. Although she studies English in school and has exceptional communication skills, she is also a dreamer. With her hope firmly anchored in Jesus, she aspires to become a lawyer and even the president someday. We took her to church to establish a supportive community that would guide and oversee her.
