Tom and Jerry - Sufferin' Cats! (1943)
This is the ninth episode of Tom and Jerry produced in Technicolor and released to theaters on January 16, 1943.
This is the first appearance of Meathead Cat.
The title has some rough resemblance to "Sufferin' succotash!" a tagline used by Sylvester the Cat from the Looney Tunes franchise, although Sylvester didn't make his debut until the short "Life with Feathers" released 2 years later after this cartoon.
This was the final cartoon where Tom screeches and meows like a realistic cat, as voiced by Harry E. Lang. Lang later voiced one of the vicious cats in "Mouse in Manhattan" two years later.
