My current personal best for this speedrun, recorded June 28th, 2015.
I'd still like to get it under seven hours (current world record is 6:40 by NESCardinality), but this in an insanely frustrating game to speedrun. The boss of chapter one is ridiculous because Healie can't level up, and the metal slime grind in chapter two can take anywhere between five minutes and over an hour. Once you get past that, it's a fun run, but getting there is stressful. There are a few more places I can save time than what I mentioned on the Twitch VOD, but I still need to get out of chapter two with a good "time buffer" to have a fair shot at sub-seven.

Finally a decent time in this game. Only major time losses were a death in chapter one, a death in the Birdsong Nectar tower, and a death on the way to Dire Palace. Chapters two through five were my best times for each chapter. The major time save over my previous best (~35 minutes) was a decent metal slime grind in chapter two for once.
