YouTube is a great aspect for anyone who owns a business, or a person with a W2 job. Regardless of where you are in life, you can benefit from starting a YouTube channel.
The first thing you need to start a YouTube channel is a phone! You can edit on your computer, or use iMovie on your phone. For lighting, you can sit by a window and use the natural light. Once you are ready to get more serious, you can upgrade to a nice camera and invest in some studio equipment as well.
Then, you need to figure out the research aspect. What do you want to make a YouTube channel about? Do you want to know how to start a YouTube channel for business reasons? Maybe you want to start a YouTube channel for personal brand reasons. Whatever the reason is, you need to know what you plan on making your channel on before you start a YouTube channel.
Once you've found your niche, the third thing you need to figure out is who your target audience is! Knowing your audience is going to be key when starting a YouTube channel. After you do that, you need to study the competition! You need to study what the other people in your niche are doing, and figure out how to create your own lane to differentiate yourself from the competition. What separates me from Graham Stephan, Meet Kevin, and all these other guys, is that I own a business that does over 100 real estate deals per year! Nothing wrong with what these other guys are doing, they are clearing crushing it, but the point is, you can see the differentiation.
The last thing I would suggest when you want to know how to get more views on YouTube is to focus on the thumbnail and title! If your thumbnail and title aren't good, people aren't going to watch your video.
