Don't let anyone tell you you don't need this many cores (16) and threads (32). You can always use more cores and threads and higher clock (4.7 Ghz). I've been putting this CPU through its paces and its faster, smoother, better, and great performing on games and creator content, than anything AMD has come out with before in the AM4 socket. Its better at everything!
At $899 street, (vs. $749 msrp), is it worth the premium over the $519 street 3900X (its almost twice the price), is it worth it? Its hard to justify at that price but it is the best AMD processor you can buy to date for the AM4 platform.
