Summa Verminoth is a giant tentacle monsters in Star Wars that could live in outer space. They have multiple eyes, electrified tentacles it uses to trap prey, and were absolutely huge at over 24,000 ft ( more 4 ½ miles long) Residing around planet Kessel this is place where millennium falcon is famous for doing shortcut through.
When han solo did famous kessel run shortcut in 12 parsecs in the Solo a Star Wars Story movie. They ran into and woke up a summa verminoth. Which they then lured into getting sucked into the Maw and were able to escape.
Fun fact: the Maw is the largest and worst black hole in maelstrom vortex thing
and is place where Abeloth is trapped (which i’ll talk bout in another video)
In another story Darth vader is rebeling emperor at one point and end up fighting a summa verminoth.
This creature had power to torture opponents with force visions.
But despite this vader using force to subdue it to his will and rode on top it to temple on planet exegol
Where he stood to fight to emperor only to have palpetine crush the entire creature and kill it with force.
