Terrell Morris | Pretty life ft Free & Losh
Terrell Morris has been through a lot. He lost some friends, went through a break up, lost his job, rekindled an old romance and moved to a new area. His whole life changed. But through it all he kept making music. And eventually he had enough material to put together an album. So he released Molasses – his debut EP.
Molasses is just as sweet as its syrupy namesake. It’s some of the most uplifting music of Terrell’s career. But it also reflects some of his most vulnerable moments.
The project was created with Toronto production duo Free n Losh. Terrell wanted them to produce his entire debut. But that’s not all. He asked them to help him create a whole new sound – one that fused neo soul and hip-hop with R&B and jazz. So that’s exactly what happened.
