Saya did not arrive on the scene unnoticed. In 2016, the Toronto-born singer-songwriter took SoundCloud by storm when she unleashed the contagious R&B-inflected track “Wet Dreams”, which earned her some serious time in the spotlight. Simultaneously holding Canadian, Israeli, Russian and Sicilian backgrounds, Saya is challenging genre boundaries as she carves out her own brand of enigmatic silky pop, influenced heavily by her interest in classic horror films. With a new single and EP on the horizon, we enter Saya’s sphere of mystery and intrigue.
