REMOTE ID test on a Custom Built FPV Drone
Testing FAA compliant Holy Stone HSRID01 broadcast module on an FPV drone, ID number blocked out for privacy, flight test done at a FRIA site. No need to have module wired into controller board since it uses its own app (Drone Go2) to setup and internal battery. I just taped it into the front right arm, pressed the power button for 2 seconds to power up (same to power off) and good to go! Green light on the left indicates battery status, green light on the right indicates performance self-check when green light flashes quickly, and then will slowly flash green light indicating broadcasting state. Remote ID module is light and is picked up by the Drone Scanner App. Blue dot on the map indicates pilot location, blue pin marker indicates drone location which does lag as expected, but good enough for FAA REMOTE ID compliance. This Module does not interfere with my current GPS rescue setup, which I did not include to show since video is long enough as it is.
